Starting off strong, we have one of the stunning books from the Library of Esoterica series. I love this collection! The book on Plant Magick and Witchcraft are also worth a read!

Using gorgeous imagery, this book is a work of art. Astrology has a long, ancient history, depicted throughout the ages, and this book leaves nothing out! From ancient times to the present day, Astrology The Library of Esoterica, takes us on a journey through the mystical frequencies of the celestial realms.

This is one of my all time favorite astrology books! It covers all the basics with beautiful descriptions of the zodiac signs and placements focused on women’s stories, mythologies, and goddess spiritualty.

Unfortunately, I lent my copy to a friend and lost it recently, but I plan to replace it ASAP!

3. Finding Our Way Through the Dark: The Astrology of the Dark Goddess Mysteries

By: Demetra George

Probably one of my most referenced astrology books, I have had this one for years, since my astrology schools days back in the early 2010s!

This book emphasizes the 12th House (which I have a 12th house Moon). It also goes into detail on dark goddess spirituality (which I talk about on my other website, cultofthedivine.com), exploring Lilith, Hekate, and other Underworld baddies.

Finding Our Way Through the Dark explores how to calculate which Moon phase you are born under and how this exquisitely plays out over our lives. In this book, Demetra George helps women use their charts to embrace the fierce dark feminine power for deepening your soul’s shadow work.

5. Astrology for the Soul

By: Jan Spiller

During my Evolutionary Astrology training, this book was key to unlocking exactly what I needed to know about the spiritual energy behind the Nodes of the Moon in astrology. I used it constantly during chart preparations in my first few years as a consulting astrologer.

While sometimes it can be a bit wordy and outdated, overall Jan Spiller captures the soul’s journey through the Nodes. She touches on what we all need to integrate, work on, and understand about ourselves for deep self-love, meaning making, and living with purpose.
